Troubleshooting

Quick fixes for the most common issues.

Application won't start

Symptoms: Double-clicking the shortcut does nothing, or the app flashes and closes immediately.

Solutions

  1. Run as Administrator — Right-click the Seatify Pro shortcut → "Run as administrator". Some systems block unsigned apps from starting without elevation.
  2. Check antivirus — Your antivirus may have quarantined the executable. Add Seatify Pro's install folder to your antivirus exclusion list.
  3. Install WebView2 — Seatify Pro requires the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime. Download it from Microsoft's site if it's missing.
  4. Check Windows version — Ensure you're running Windows 10 (build 1809+) or Windows 11.
  5. Reinstall — Uninstall Seatify Pro, delete the %APPDATA%/com.seatifypro.app folder, and reinstall from the latest release.

Table not detected

Symptoms: Seatify Pro is running but doesn't see your poker tables.

Solutions

  1. Check supported sites — Only Winamax and PMU Poker are currently supported. Other sites won't be detected.
  2. Restart the poker client — Open your poker tables after Seatify Pro is already running. Some detection requires the table window to be created while Seatify Pro is active.
  3. Disable "Run as Admin" on the poker client — If the poker client runs elevated but Seatify Pro doesn't (or vice versa), Windows blocks cross-process detection. Run both at the same privilege level.
  4. Check Settings → Poker Site — Make sure the correct site is selected in your configuration.

Overlay does not appear

Symptoms: Tables are detected but the BetBox or HUD overlay is invisible.

Solutions

  1. Check overlay toggle — Open Settings → BetBox (or HUD) and ensure the overlay is enabled.
  2. Check overlay position — The overlay may have been dragged off-screen. Click Reset Position in Settings to bring it back.
  3. Disable hardware acceleration in the poker client — Some poker clients use exclusive fullscreen rendering that blocks overlays. Switch to windowed mode.
  4. Update GPU drivers — Outdated graphics drivers can cause overlay rendering issues.

Hotkey doesn't fire

Symptoms: You press a bound hotkey but nothing happens on the table.

Solutions

  1. Check that the poker table is focused — Hotkeys only fire when a poker table window is in the foreground. Click the table first.
  2. Check for conflicts — Another application (Discord, OBS, etc.) may be capturing the same key. Try a different binding.
  3. Verify the binding — Open Settings → Hotkeys and confirm the action is bound to the key you expect.
  4. Run Seatify Pro as Administrator — If the poker client runs elevated, Seatify Pro needs the same privilege level to send keystrokes.
  5. Check hotkey toggle — Ensure the global hotkey toggle (top of the Hotkeys panel) is set to ON.

License activation fails

Symptoms: You enter your email or license key and get an error message.

Solutions

  1. Check your internet connection — Activation requires a connection to api.seatifypro.com.
  2. Check for typos — License keys are case-sensitive. Copy-paste from your confirmation email to avoid errors.
  3. Check your email inbox — For trial activation, you must click the confirmation link sent to your email before the trial is active.
  4. Firewall / VPN — Some corporate firewalls or VPNs block outgoing HTTPS to unknown domains. Try disabling your VPN temporarily.
  5. Rate limit — If you've tried too many times in a short period, wait 60 seconds and try again.

Auto-update fails

Symptoms: Seatify Pro notifies you of an update but the download or install fails.

Solutions

  1. Check your internet connection — Updates are downloaded from GitHub. Ensure github.com is reachable.
  2. Restart Seatify Pro — Close and reopen the app. The updater retries on next launch.
  3. Check disk space — Ensure you have at least 200 MB free on the drive where Seatify Pro is installed.
  4. Manual update — If auto-update keeps failing, download the latest version manually from GitHub Releases and install over the existing version.
  5. Antivirus interference — Some antivirus software blocks the updater from replacing files. Temporarily disable real-time protection during the update.
